The Belgian State is still majority shareholder of Belgacom, followed by Capital Research and Management, which holds 4.9% of the shares. France Telecom owns 50.17% of Mobistar and expectations are FT will increase its stake. BASE is 100% owned by KPN Group, with (again) Capital Research and Management as major shareholder in KPN. Investment funds and municipalities are shareholders in Telenet and VOO. The major shareholder of Telenet is Liberty Global (51.05%), followed by Fortis Investment Management (5.29%).
